Using Tingle Tanning Lotion
Tingle tanning lotion and tanning beds, say that ten
times and your tongue will get tangled! In all
seriousness, tingle tanning lotions and inside tanning
with a tanning bed is hot business in today’s market!
You’ve heard about the tingle factor and the different
types of lotions, but your unsure exactly about how they
work and if you should use them. Also, is it true that
you really tingle when you are tanning, and does it
hurt? Keep reading and you will find a few little tingly
facts if your considering using a lotion with a tingle
ingredient.
The Tingle Factor Facts
So how does a tanning lotion tingle? The application of
a tanning lotion for indoor use on a tanning bed with a
tingle factor has several purposes. To begin with the
lotion is enriched with chemicals that raise your blood
to the surface of the skin and the melanin production
which causes you to tan. In effect it oxygenates the
skin and raises your blood chemistry to work at a much
faster rate. The lotion itself will open your pours by
magnifying your UV exposure from the tanning bed, so
light will pass through at a much higher rate. Many
people swear by the use of tingle lotions for tanning,
but use of them must be used according to directions and
you skin type.
Tanning Tingle Lotion Benefits and Drawbacks
Tingle tanning lotions are used for indoor tanning only.
Because they are an accelerator it is safe to use them
only inside where you are in control with how much ‘sun’
you get from a tanning bed. Using a lotion with tingle
when beginning to develop your tan is a graduated
process, begin with a low factor and work up to the tan
that you desire. Tingle lotions are valued at a
numerical rate, so be sure to check your factor number.
Do not attempt to get a faster tan by beginning with a
higher rate tingle accelerator, you will only burn and
damage the skin. To tan properly without burning,
remember that the skin must be moisturized continually.
You are already applying a lotion that slightly
irritates the skin, so don’t compound the problem by
choosing a high factor lotion. The benefits are varied,
such as you will reach your tanning plateau at a faster
rate, and you will achieve a deeper and longer lasting
tan in the process.
Tingle Bronzers – Worth the Risk?
If you decide to purchase a tingle lotion that has
bronzer capabilities, you will need to be extremely
careful when tanning in a tanning bed. Bronzers are
found for outside lotions, but for indoor use with the
tingle tanning lotions they take on a unique factor –
you can’t tell when you are tanning or burning! Make
sure to evaluate your risk on using a bronzer in the
tanning bed. The purpose is to tan and not to end up
with a horrid burn and skin cancer 20 years down the
road. Only you can decide if using a bronzer is worth
the effort.
Body Conscious: Tingle Tanning Lotions
Use of a tingle tanner lotion can give you a beautiful
tan, but use only products that are clearly factored and
use them appropriately. If you are hesitant or have any
questions about whether you should use them at all, talk
with your doctor and then make an informed decision. It
is your body and health. There is nothing wrong with
wanting to improve and beautify your body, but do it
smartly for a healthy you.
